PLANNER

#WHEREDIDYOUGETTHAT

Am I obsessed with stationary? OHH HECK YEAH I AM. Paper and pens seem very frivilous and trivial but you don't even know how complete I feel when my paper and pens are cute. BUUUUUT... here's the thing, I am a terrible AND I MEAN TERRIBLE planner person. I use my planner for like a week MAYBE a month and then it goes to waste. It's really unforunate because I'd like to be more organized. Luckily, I've found an alternative! My past two quarters I've been keeping track of my assignments and projects by using sticky notes. Simple. Effective. Doesn't waste a whole planner. However, it was hard to fit everything on sticky notes so I searched for something in between: notepad planner! It's the perfect solution because you can fill in the date, keep stuff more organized than sticky notes, and they're 100% cute certified! I got mine at one of my favorite online stationary stores, Monopoly.

Finding good sales can actually be harder than you think. A lot of the times, stores won't really notify you unless you've subscribed to their emails (and that can be annoying) or they'll post on their Insta story (which you might not be checking 24/7). I have a plethora of tips but one I'll share today is LIKEtoKNOW.it which is an app where influencers link what's in their pictures. I use it to find cute new clothes and home decor but I also use it to keep track of sales. Some influencers will let you know that there's a sale going on and sometimes the app itself with partner with different stores when they do have a big sale (ie. Nordstrom's semi-annual sale). So it's kinda like have a bajillion assistants searching the internet for you!

I want to start by saying that I really don't know how to do a lot of code effects by heart and I'm definitely not aware of every single CSS effect out there. Trust me, I'm not a robot. I think if you have a decent understanding on where to plug in the code, you should be fine. An important thing to remember though is that you have to choose your effects wisely. While they may be cool, they should still have an overall cohesive style so don't get too crazy with them. I'll link the code to the typewriter effect if you're interested!
